No. Due to supply chain complexities, most airlines will not accommodate requests to serve peanut or nut-free meals. Although many airlines no longer serve peanuts, there may be trace elements of unspecified nut ingredients including peanut/groundnut/tree nut oils in meals and snacks. Additionally, other passengers can bring peanuts, groundnuts, and tree nuts on board the aircraft.

Yes. The sky cot/bassinet is usually located at the bulkhead, a fixed wall from which sky cots are attached and with seating directly in front. A bulkhead is a physical partition that divides an aircraft into different classes or sections. Bulkheads can be found throughout the aircraft, separating seats from galley and toilet areas. Due to limited bulkhead seats, sky cots/bassinets are subject to availability.

Eligibility and requirements vary from airline to airline and include the allowable age of the baby (never greater than 2 years), size and weight of the baby, placement of the sky cot/bassinet (some go on the floor in front of the adult passenger’s feet), and style of the sky cot/bassinet (some are made of cardboard, whilst others are more substantial). In most cases, airlines will require that you hold your baby during taxi, take-off, landing, and in instances of turbulence.
