Offering an extended itinerary travelling from Darwin to Adelaide, The Ghan Expedition is also packed with inspiring off-train experiences along the way. You’ll stop first in Katherine to see awe-inspiring gorges, before heading to Alice Springs, where you’ll spend a full day admiring the red centre in all its glory. Finish the day with a spectacular dinner under the stars, where you can even ride a camel. You’ll also see one of the opal capitals of the world at Coober Pedy, with a guided underground tour.
