What to expect

Experience the best of both worlds with this 19-day rail and cruise trip. Your journey begins in Vancouver, where you’ll get to sightsee before you board your train the Rocky Mountaineer. You’ll be awed by the views of the Canadian Rockies from your glass-dome carriage. Prepare to “Meet a Mountie” in Banff and listen to the interesting tales of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. You’ll travel along the Icefields Parkway, stop at the Columbia Icefield and board an Ice Explorer vehicle – arriving later in Jasper National Park. Your journey follows the famous Yellowhead Highway, where you will pass Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, and later arrive in the alpine village of Sun Peaks.
