The Alice is Australia’s famous outback town located in the heart of the Red Centre‘s desert landscape and surrounded by the stunning MacDonnell Ranges. This comprehensive and informative afternoon tour of Alice Springs will take guests to visit popular Alice Springs attractions including the Royal Flying Doctors Service, School of the Air, the historic Telegraph Station and the Alice Springs Reptile Park.
This sightseeing tour of Alice Springs will give guests a fantastic overview of the outback town learning about its wildlife, its unique culture and its fascinating history. Hotel transfers are included in the tour as well as onboard commentary from your local and experienced driver/guide. Tours depart from 2pm and will return around 6pm. Simpson’s Gap
Next, marvel at the dramatic beauty of Simpson’s Gap. Join your Driver Guide for a guided walk through this stunning natural corridor, carved over millions of years. Keep an eye out for the elusive black-footed rock wallaby, often spotted among the rugged cliffs.
Standley Chasm
Explore the cultural and geological wonder of Standley Chasm, a site of deep significance to the local Arrernte people. On a one-hour guided Standley Chasm hike, see the sandstone walls come alive with vibrant hues as the midday sun illuminates the Chasm.
