My first overseas trip was to Shanghai with my Dad visiting factories and eating the most delicious food. This inspired me to travel more so I headed off with a friend and travelled around Europe for 4 months before living in London during the Queen's Jubilee and 2012 Olympics.

Joe Fortes, Vancouver. The most delicious seafood. Oysters with a mignonette to start and Seafood Linguine for mains. 

What wouldn’t you travel without?

A printed or colourful scarf. Perfect piece to keep you warm on public transport/planes and to cover you up when visiting sacred spaces.
