What to expect

Buy your Australia Zoo tickets online here to experience a close encounter with over 100 different species of wildlife from all around the world. Australia Zoo Sunshine Coast is the home of the crocodile hunter, made famous by the late Steve Irwin and is one of the top things to do in the Sunshine Coast. Now run by his wife Terri Irwin, and children Bindi and Robert, the animals are well catered for at Australia Zoo.

With a strong focus on animal education and conservation, the staff at Australia Zoo present an array of fascinating wildlife presentations throughout the day. Visitors should not miss the Wildlife Warriors show at the Crocoseum where you can watch a crocodile demonstration, birds of flight show and slithering snakes all in one place.

There is also the opportunity for wildlife fans to hand feed kangaroos or cuddle a koala at Australia Zoo. Over at Bindi’s Island, see the ring-tailed lemurs, Tiger Island big cats splashing around plus enjoy an African safari admiring rhinos, zebras, giraffes and cheetahs interacting with each other in their large open range exhibit.

Our Australia Zoo tickets also come with a special entry to the Wildlife hospital where you can see all the incredible work the team do to care, treat and rehabilitate sick and injured animals. Australia Zoo is a wonderful way to spend a day on the Sunshine Coast so pre-purchase your Australia Zoo Sunshine Coast tickets here for a great value day out!
