Avon Valley Winter Balloon Ride
Balloon Flights over the picturesque Avon Valley happen during the colder months, from April till November
What to expect
Meeting inside the Farmers Home Hotel in Northam 1 ½ hours before sunrise, the day starts early! You will jump into the comfortable and modern minibus and journey to one of the many launch sites spread around the valley.
The inflation and preparation of the balloon takes about half an hour and you are invited to participate with simple tasks. When the balloon is ready and after a precise safety briefing, you'll start your flight which will last approximately one hour.
The views are stunning, especially if you fly in the months when the canola fields or the wildflowers are at their most splendid. Regardless, any day is good for ballooning during the season, weather permitting, of course.
Once we land, we pack the balloon away and we drive back to our meeting point to enjoy a beautiful “a la carte” breakfast.

Extras
- Photos and video of your flight may be purchased on the day at an additional cost
- Transfer from Optus Stadium in Perth available as an optional extra and will need to be arranged with the operator prior to your flight

- Meeting at Dome Café, inside the Farmers Home Hotel 112 Fitzgerald St E, Northam 6104. Times will vary throughout the season.
