What to expect

Soak in the very best of Italy on this 11-day guided tour.

In Rome, you’ll tour the Vatican VIP style – including the chance to admire that famous Sistine Chapel ceiling. You’ll also have plenty of time to see the city your way. Hint: a coffee on Piazza Navona is a truly special way to take in the city’s energy.

You’ll then meander through the spectacular Chianti Hills to Florence. You may choose to visit the Accademia Museum to see Michelangelo’s David, or wander the market stalls on a guided tour.

In Pisa, you may just come across a leaning tower before you drive the Apennine Mountains to Venice. Here, you’ll take a private boat past 13th century palaces to St Mark’s Square and have time to fall in love all over again.

Stunning Sorrento will be your base as you sail to the ‘Isle of Dreams’ (Capri) and journey to Pompeii. Here, you’ll have a farm-to-table lunch on the volcano’s slopes and experience Roman life frozen in time from A.D. 79.

Before saying arrivederci, you’ll head back to the eternal city, where you’ll enjoy a private opera during a four-course meal that features local wine. When in Rome, right?
