What to expect

Central Spain will leave you spellbound, as you take in the best of historic Madrid, explore the mediaeval streets of Segovia and wander through Salamanca’s famous Plaza Mayor.

Then you’ll head across the border into Portugal, where you’ll sip Port in Porto, walk within the walls of the fortified town of Óbidos and taste Pastéis de Belém from a traditional patisserie in Lisbon.

And just when you thought you’d seen the best of the Iberian peninsula, think again. The final week of your journey will see you discover Flamenco in Sevilla, travel the scenic route through high end resorts in the Costa del Sol, and relax by bright blue Mediterranean waters.

This trip of a lifetime wraps up as you journey from Valencia to Barcelona. In Valencia you’ll marvel at the architecture of the ultra modern science museum and even learn to cook paella. In Barcelona, you’ll step inside Gaudi’s extraordinary Sagrada Família and be blessed with plenty of time to take in the culture of the city as you walk the famous ‘La Rambla’ – the perfect way to end your Iberian adventure.
