Explore lush native bushland and encounter over 50 remarkable birds of prey at Capes Raptor Centre.
Explore lush native bushland and encounter over 50 remarkable birds of prey at Capes Raptor Centre, just a five-minute drive from the Margaret River town centre.
Join a twice-daily Bird of Prey Flight Display, where you will learn about raptors’ natural behaviours, hunting strategies, and exceptional sensory abilities. Finish with the chance to have a photograph taken beside an owl for a memorable experience.
As Western Australia’s largest care and rehabilitation facility for birds of prey, Capes Raptor Centre provides a permanent home for eagles, hawks, falcons, owls, and other raptors that are unable to return to the wild. Each year, many more birds are successfully rehabilitated and released back into their natural habitat by the dedicated Capes Raptor Centre team.
Before or after the flight display, walk the 1km Bird of Prey Trail situated in native bushland and view aviaries housing resident diurnal and nocturnal birds of prey.
