November to early January

Every year, from November through to early January, we open the gates to our two Yarra Valley orchards for the public to pick their own cherries fresh from the tree. We encourage guests to pack a picnic and enjoy the scenic grounds after their cherry-picking experience.

Our farmgate store and café on-site serve up delicious cherry ice cream, beverages, and lots of cherry goodies!

CherryHill Orchards is Victoria's largest and most well-rated cherry-picking orchard. For many Australians, a favourite thing to do every summer is to pack a picnic, take in the views of the Yarra Ranges and have fun picking from more than 30 varieties of the best-tasting cherries straight from the tree.

Nestled within the heart of the Yarra Valley's winery region, we have two beautiful orchards that open to the public for cherry picking! Spend the morning picking cherries amidst the endless rows of cherry trees, where you will find thousands of sweet, plump cherries ripe for picking.

Eat as many as you pick, then pick more to enjoy after your trip. Picnic on our expansive lawn area or select a treat from our food truck vendors.

Afterwards try our famous cherry ice cream or beverages which are all available on-site.
