While on board, you won’t have to eat or drink the same thing twice, with a huge selection of bars, lounges, cafes and restaurants. Whether you’re looking for a casual pizza or burger, specialty seafood, elegant dining or even a casino bar, you’ll be spoiled for choice on the Carnival Splendor.
Sydney to Noumea
Day 1 Sydney
Depart 4pm
Days 2-3 At Sea
It’s hard to tell which onboard space best represents Carnival Splendor — they all seem to hint at the amazing time you’re going to have. El Morocco Lounge hosts comedy shows, musical performances, karaoke and more… and wears its 1930s namesake clearly on its nameplate. And Fahrenheit 555 can be found not only at the height of elegant dining, but at the actual apex of the ship. If you like your fun to flow, there are options aplenty. If you list “splishing” and “splashing” among your favourite things to do, there’s Carnival WaterWorks. Those into sitting and sliding are invited to try the all-new Green Lightning thrill-slide. How about floating or swimming around? Carnival Splendor has pools all over the place, including the midship pool featuring a retractable roof that makes any day a pool day. So whether you splish or splash, you’ll find hydro-excitement galore. Or if relaxation is more your thing, Serenity Adult-Only Retreat is more your place. One thing's for sure, there really is something for everyone onboard!
Day 4 Noumea
Arrive 8am, Depart 5pm
Every time is the best time to cruise to Noumea, and not just because it has more sunshine days than any other Pacific Island capital. Noumea is the capital of New Caledonia, and a New Caledonia cruise from Sydney or Brisbane allows you to enjoy all the delicious offerings of the Paris of the Pacific. A Noumea cruise is everything you love about a visit to the South Pacific Islands – white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, and stunning culture. But visiting Noumea on a South Pacific Islands cruise is more than that. On a Noumea cruise you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of a thriving South Pacific island city, and the fusion of the French and Melanesian flavours.
Mare to Isle of Pines
Day 5 Mare
Arrive 8am, Depart 5pm
If you want to visit some of nature’s most unspoiled beauty, then a Mare is for you. When you think Mare Island, think white beaches, crystal clear waters, and absolutely stunning landscapes. A Mare cruise will give you some of the best beach experiences you’ll ever have. Each beach is different, from traditional sands to breath-taking cliffs. And the inland is just as spectacular, with dark forests, intimidating caves, and natural pools brimming with fish and turtles.
Day 6 Isle of Pines
Arrive 8am, Depart 5pm
An Isle of Pines cruise takes you into the heart of paradise – literally. The former penal colony is nicknamed ‘the closest to paradise’, and as soon as you enter the Isle of Pines cruise port you’ll see why. Captain James Cook named the island, despite never setting foot on it, but when you do, you’ll be able to enjoy everything a New Caledonia cruise offers. Swim in the blue waters and dive the coral reefs of Kuto Bay. Get to know the friendly locals, stroll the picture-postcard beaches, and enjoy the small towns on the south coast. An Isle of Pines cruise and other South Pacific Island cruises will keep the family busy all day, and give them memories that will last forever.
