What to expect
Clare Valley is home to some of Australia’s best Riesling with an abundance of heritage experiences. Historic character is blended with modern comforts in the heritage-listed cottages at Bungaree Station. Each building within the village-like property is unique and set within the picturesque rural landscape, which guests are welcome to explore at their leisure. The Swaggies Hut was originally built to accommodate the iconic travelling swagman, who would do manual tasks in exchange for a bed and a meal. This unique cottage has been converted into a self contained king suite, with kitchenette and bathroom.
