What to expect

Experience the spectacular landscapes of Costa Rica on this 7-day Costsaver tour.

After arriving at your hotel in San Jose, heading out to Barrio Amon offers a wonderful glimpse into the city’s history, while Barrio Escalante is a must for those looking for a truly authentic Costa Rican feast.

You’ll then head to Sarchi – a town widely regarded for its intricate arts. You’ll have time to explore the many stalls before you begin your climb into the Tilarán Mountain range to reach Monteverde.

The next morning, you’ll be exploring the otherworldly Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears poised for sloths, howler monkeys and toucans living inside this incredible tropical oasis. You may choose to take part in multiple optional experiences, including a cloud forest night walk, a horseback riding tour or a bat jungle tour.

Then it's onwards for three straight days exploring Arenal Volcano National Park. Here you’ll relax by bubbling hot springs, walk through lava fields and sky walk through the jungle canopy – not to mention safari float down the Peñas Blancas River.

This truly is the best way to get up close and personal with Costa Rica without breaking the bank.
