What to expect

Experience Japan’s rich contrasts on this immersive 13-day cultural tour. From Tokyo’s futuristic skyline to Kyoto’s tranquil shrines, this unforgettable journey blends timeless tradition with vibrant modernity.

Begin in bustling Tokyo, where you’ll explore the elegant Ginza district and stand in awe at the historic Senso-ji Temple. Travel onwards to Hakone for a serene Lake Ashi cruise, before reaching the dramatic “Crow Castle” in Matsumoto.

In the mountain town of Takayama, savour melt-in-your-mouth Hida beef and sample sake at a local brewery. Try your hand at gold leaf decorating, learn the refined ritual of the tea ceremony, and take part in a sushi-making class.

Board the iconic Shinkansen bullet train to Hiroshima, where you’ll visit the moving Peace Memorial and explore the floating torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine. Kyoto awaits with its geisha culture, Golden Pavilion, and the unforgettable Fushimi Inari Shrine.
