What to expect
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, located on the beautiful Gold Coast, spans 27 hectares and showcases Australia’s most iconic native wildlife. As a not-for-profit organisation, the Sanctuary reinvests its proceeds into wildlife care, supporting one of the world’s busiest wildlife hospitals, more than 15 conservation projects, and educating visitors on protecting the natural environment.
Enjoy interactive wildlife experiences such as meeting koalas, petting kangaroos, feeding capybaras, or join an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour! Witness the Wild Skies Free Flight Bird Show or explore Aboriginal culture. Kids can enjoy the Wild Island Adventure Splash Zone. Watch the vet team in action at the wildlife hospital and learn about the Sanctuary’s incredible conservation efforts!
Don't miss the wild Rainbow Lorikeet feeding, held twice daily at 8am and 4pm. Located just 5 minutes from Gold Coast Airport and 20 minutes from Surfers Paradise, the Sanctuary is open year-round (except Christmas and ANZAC Day).
