The first stop is Fig Tree Point where you can enjoy a short circuit walk through an ancient landscape and lush sub-tropical rainforest. Reboard to experience the Everglades in the specially designed eco boats or grab a paddle and get close to nature with one of the best canoeing adventures in Australia (the choice is yours). Cruise or paddle to Harry’s Hut an historic loggers camp from the early 1900’s where you can take some time to explore the historical setting or swim in the tea tree infused waters. Expert commentary is provided throughout the tour on the flora, fauna and rich history of the region before returning to Habitat Noosa where you can enjoy lunch (OWN COST) or just relax in the CootharaBAR & Bistro. It is the ideal setting to sit back, enjoy the lakeside views and sample a craft beer from Australia’s only artesian micro-brewery.
