Gold Coast Classic Ballooning & Vineyard Breakfast
Capture incredible photos and revel in the sunrise as you float above the beautiful countryside in the peace and serenity of a hot air balloon.
What to expect
Our professional tour guides will deliver you to the launch site pre-dawn for you to witness the impressive scene of balloons being inflated - once inflated they stand taller than a ten storey building.
When the balloon is ready, step into the basket with your experienced pilot; feel the peace and serenity of floating above the countryside, see the rolling hills and open fields, set against the stunning backdrop of the rising sun. There is nothing in the world like the feeling of floating gently above the earth.
Breathe in the fresh air, enjoy sweeping views of the famous Gold Coast Hinterland and Scenic Rim on one side then look towards the coast to see the skyline dotted with towering buildings - it's the best of both worlds!
Our very experienced pilots will slowly guide the balloon down to the landing point, where the fun continues, we all pitch in and fold up the balloon itself, have a laugh and take some more photos.
Finally we head to our exclusive boutique vineyard for a delicious hot breakfast, continental buffet and toast the sensational flight experience with a glass of sparkling wine.

Time
- The hot air ballooning Gold Coast experience including breakfast departs between approximately 3.25am - 4.30am from your hotel and returns between 9.45am and 10.30am. Please note pick up times are seasonal and can change depending on the time of the sunrise. It is highly recommended to reconfirm your booking on arrival to the Gold Coast and confirm your hotel pick up time to avoid disappointment
Hotel Pickup
- Pick up is available from accommodation in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Main Beach, Southport between 3.50am and 4.30am, or you can meet at Nerang or Canungra
What To Bring
- It is recommended that you wear long pants and closed in shoes - no heels, slippers or skirts please
- Bring a jacket as it gets quite cool as the sun rises and please avoid white clothes
- Carry hats, sunglasses, and a fully charged phone or camera for taking pictures
- If your flight time is from April to October (in winter), you need to wear warm clothes to prevent the cold; in other months, there will be warm airflow due to the burning of hot air balloons, so you do not need to wear warm clothes
