What to expect
The complete reef and island experience in one day awaits with this exciting cruise! A fast 45 minute catamaran ride across the Coral Sea from Cairns will take you to beautiful Green Island to enjoy two hours on this unique reef and rainforest coral cay. A day of adventure and discovery continues onto Great Adventures’ spacious activity platform moored on the majestic Outer Great Barrier Reef.
From the activity platform, guests of all ages, swimmers and non-swimmers can enjoy a magical day on one of nature’s wonders. With the air-conditioned semi-submersible and underwater observatory, you don’t even have to get wet to discover the reef. Snorkel directly off the platform amongst beautiful coral gardens and colourful marine life, or just relax on the sundeck with a delicious buffet lunch and enjoy the amazing marine-scape!
Exciting optional activities include scuba diving, guided snorkel tours, the exclusive Scuba-Doo underwater scooter and scenic helicopter flights to see the reef from a different perspective.

- Hotel pick ups - These are available for $30 Adult, $20 Child from Cairns and $38 Adult, $21 Child from Northern Beaches Hotels (please choose this option at time of booking)
Extras
- Introductory Dives - Passengers must be 12 years of age or older to participate in introductory dives
- Certified Dives - Passengers wishing to undertake certified dives must show PADI, Naui, SSI or equivalent certification card, log book or verification letter
- Not suitable for infants
- Ideal for novice snorkellers and family groups, you will be able to swim with the fish and explore the wonders of the reef with one of our knowledgeable guides by your side.

- Individual passenger weights and accompanying carryon luggage MUST be advised at time of booking. Weight variances greater than 10% may incur an additional fee.
- Maximum single seat weight of 130kg
- One infant under their 3rd birthday may travel free of charge if seated on a guardian’s lap. Maximum one infant per helicopter as per CASA regulations.

Time
- Tours depart daily from the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal (a short walk from most Cairns accommodation) at 8.30am and return at 5.30pm. Check-in commences at 7.30am and boarding commences at 8am
