Our day begins in Melbourne, where we set off early in the morning to explore the stunning Great Ocean Road! After a quick stop in Aireys Inlet, we will head to Anglesea to visit the Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch, where we’ll snap some photos of this iconic gateway. We’ll then pause for lunch in the charming seaside town of Lorne (at your own cost) before continuing along the coast to Cape Patton’s lookout for some breathtaking coastal views.
Next, we will visit Great Otway National Park, where we’ll embark on a guided walk through the lush Melba Gully to admire the beautiful cascading waterfall. Leaving the rainforest behind, we’ll make our way to the renowned Loch Ard Gorge to explore the dramatic coastline and uncover the fascinating history of the Shipwreck Coast.
For dinner, we’ll relax at a local establishment in Port Campbell (at your own cost) before heading to the highlight of the day—the Twelve Apostles! Here, we’ll witness a spectacular sunset illuminating the iconic rock formations as the day draws to a close. Finally, we’ll travel back to Melbourne, stopping in Colac for one last rest stop along the way.
