What to expect
Hanmer Springs isn't all just about relaxation - up your thrill game and take the plunge with an epic Hanmer Springs bungy jumping experience while you're visiting! Admire the views of some truly picturesque scenery, then take a flying leap off the historic Ferry Bridge near Hanmer Springs and Christchurch and experience the exhilaration as you free-fall 35 metres towards the canyon below. Bungy Jumping is an iconic New Zealand activity for the thrill-seeking traveler, and now you can give it a go! Included in the price is your souvenir Bungy Jump t-shirt – as proof of your nerves of steel!
You can also choose to grab a photo of your NZ bungy jump experience (at extra cost). Take with you a sense of adventure, fun and feel the thrill of the almighty Buuuuuuuunnnnngggggy!

- This activity inherently involves risks and potential hazards. The risks and hazards include, but are not limited to whiplash, spinal injury, retinal detachment, ropes/cord becoming wrapped around limbs, bungy cord snapping, and suspension trauma (hanging in a harness for an extended period of time)
- Participating in the Bungy Jumping activity offered by Thrillseekers Adventures Ltd trading as Hanmer Springs Attractions can be hazardous if they are not conducted with care, control, and responsibility.
- These risks could result in my injury (physical or mental), broken bones, dislocations, lacerations, drowning/secondary drowning, amputation, or even death.
- Not all risks/injuries can be explained as it can be specific to the Bungy Jumper and their own physical health, pre-existing medical conditions, and previous injuries. It is the responsibility of the participant to disclose any conditions (health or otherwise) that may affect the safety and enjoyment of myself and those around me.
