Enjoy a full day exploring the best of the Hunter Valley, Australia’s premier wine region!
The day begins bright and early as we depart from Central Sydney and head north towards the stunning Hunter Valley. Along the way, soak in the scenic countryside views as we journey into this renowned wine region.
Our first stop is at the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company, where you’ll get to watch skilled chocolatiers at work through the chocolate-making window, sample delicious Belgian chocolates, and browse for sweet treats to take home.
Next, we visit Sobels Winery, where you’ll enjoy a guided behind-the-scenes tour of the winemaking process with a cellarmaster. Learn about the vineyard’s history and discover how their award-winning wines are crafted, followed by a tasting of their signature selections.
We then continue to 4 Pines at the Farm, where expert Cellarmasters will guide you through a wine-tasting session, showcasing some of the Hunter Valley’s finest varieties. You can also choose to do a beer tasting if you're not a wine person. Here, you’ll also indulge in a delicious lunch at the on-site restaurant, with the option to pair your meal with locally produced beverage you choose—all while enjoying breathtaking vineyard views.
After lunch, we make our way to the charming Hunter Valley Gardens Village, a perfect spot to explore boutique shops, pick up unique souvenirs, or enjoy additional tastings at local distilleries and cellar doors.
Our final stop is at Drayton’s Family Wines, one of the region’s oldest family-owned wineries. Taste a selection of their finest wines and hear the fascinating stories behind their winemaking heritage.
As the day winds down, we will stop at the Hunter Valley Tourist Information Centre for a last minute shopping before returning to Sydney, reminiscing about a day filled with fine wine, gourmet treats, and stunning countryside landscapes.
