What to expect
Join our Huon Valley Safaris for a Food, Cider and Gin Tour. We will visit Mt Wellington / Kunanyi and then take a picturesque journey through the Huon Valley. At Willie Smith Ciders, you can taste their ciders and learn about the cider-making process. Lunch will be a selection of wraps and salad rolls (pre-ordered). Visit another cider venue, cygnet and Grandvewe Cheese, where we can sample gins, vodkas, and cheese.
Stop at many of the beautiful parks along the edge of the Huon River and drive the back roads from Mt Wellington / Kunanyi through to Longley.
Visit Pagan Cider in Cygnet. Here you can sample an entire range of ciders in an intimate little tasting room. With 8 taps pouring, there's always something fresh and exciting to explore - including ciders not available anywhere else on earth.
Our return journey will take us along the D'Entrecasteaux Channel to Grandvewe Cheese, through Kettering and onto Hobart.
