As we approach the awe-inspiring rock formations of Kata Tjuta, prepare to be mesmerised
by stories that span millenia, unveiling the secrets of this ancient land. Witness the sheer
grandeur of the 36 towering domes (or "many heads" in the local Pitjantjatjara language)
remnants of a geological saga that unfolded over half a billion years ago.
Our adventure unfolds with a 5.4 kilometre trek to the enchanting Valley of the Winds, a
sanctuary nestled amidst the heart of Kata Tjuta's domes. Guided by the gentle rhythms of
the creek beds, we journey into a timeless realm where nature's majesty reigns supreme.
Join us for an unforgettable exploration of Kata Tjuta, where every step is a testament to the

After the walk take in a magnificent outback sunset and relax with canapés and Australian
wines. Return to your hotel approximately 1 hour after sunset.

- Tours depart 4.5 hours prior to sunset (April to September) from Ayers Rock Resort
- Your returns 1 hour after sunset
- Tour duration is approximately 6 hours
