What to expect
The Kawarau Half Day Canyon adventure takes you out into the Gibbston Valley wine country, just outside of Queenstown, for the ultimate canyoning experience!
This half-day excursion is just 20-minutes outside of Queenstown, and it is suitable for all fitness levels. Upon arrival at the canyon, your experienced and qualified guide will assist you with a full demonstration and explanation of everything to do with canyoning. From there, you will walk five minutes before taking off on your canyon experience!
Slide down natural waterslides and plunge into the natural pools, as you try your hand at abseiling down waterfalls, and ziplining. Take a moment to breath in the fresh air and the beautiful natural sights of the Kawaru Canyon before returning back to Queenstown.
This makes for an exceptional experience to do with friends and for those looking to try a new outdoor activity!
