What to expect
Cruise around part of the World's most ancient tropical rainforest with Kuranda Riverboat's scenic and informative water adventure. Aboard this covered open-air vessel, you'll be taken on a journey on part of the Barron River in Kuranda to spot some of its local inhabitants and see the true beauty that Tropical North Queensland is renowned for. The Barron River is home to a range of native Australian animals including freshwater crocodiles, turtles, snakes, water dragons and fish, as well as the hundreds of tropical bird species that fly around the region. Sometimes a cassowary may be seen too on the far bank of the river. We cannot guarantee what wildlife will be around when you come on a cruise with us.

The 2.30pm cruise returns for the 3.30pm train
Location
Conveniently located a few minutes walks from the Kuranda Railway Station. Walk across the railway footbridge and go down the stairs to the river where you will see our red flags flying at our jetty.
