Magnetic Island Tours - Comprehensive Tour
The Maggie Comprehensive Tour is a 5-hour fully guided experience, starting at Nelly Bay ferry terminal and concluding at Horseshoe Bay
What to expect
This is a fully guided bus tour ending at the popular lunch and swimming spot, Horseshoe Bay. You will visit all the major sights including one or two secret spots some locals don’t even know about. Throughout the day you’ll learn about history, geography, flora, fauna and what it’s like to live on an island in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. All this, with the spectacular scenery of Magnetic Island as your backdrop.

Exclusions
- This tour does not include tickets for the SeaLink Magnetic Island Ferry
Time
- Departs at 9:15am (guests travelling from Townsville should catch no later than the 8:45am SeaLink ferry), returning at 2:30pm.
- If you choose to travel back to Townsville, you can catch the 3.00pm SeaLink ferry.
Location
- Tour departs from Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal, Magnetic Island
- Tour concludes at Horse Shoe Bay
- At the tour’s end, you can either return to the ferry terminal by bus or stay at Horseshoe Bay, where you can wind down and have lunch while enjoying the scenic waterfront views, go for a swim or take a stroll along the beach.
