What to expect
Experience everything Mount Buller has to offer on this one-day tour of the snow-covered mountain. During the day, you’ll have the chance to snowboard or ski until your heart is content, take an adrenalin-pumping toboggan ride, and soak up the magical views from the peak. Hire all your clothes and equipment at Mount Buller on the day or pre-book packages with us to receive a discount. You’ll be free to explore the mountain in any way you like – whether that’s by hitting the slopes, taking a snowy stroll, or sitting back and relaxing in the selection of cosy cafes and tasty restaurants.

- Child prices are available for children aged 3-14 years. Unfortunately this tour is not suited for children under 3 years of age.
- Please note that if you bring your own toboggans, they will have to remain under the bus for safety reasons.

Itinerary
The day will begin bright and early so that we can get to the mountains with plenty of time for snow play. Departing Melbourne, you will slowly see the landscape begin to change as we make our way through the Yarra Valley and into the mountains. Once we arrive at Mount Buller, the day is yours to spend as you wish! There are over 300 hectares of snowfields covering the mountain, offering endless time in the snow.
If you plan to ski or snowboard, there are 25 different lifts for you to try out. The slopes range from beginner to double black diamond, providing options for all skill levels. You don’t have to have your own gear to enjoy skiing or snowboarding here, there is some available for hire from the local ski shop.
Maybe skiing isn’t your thing. That’s completely fine! There are plenty of other ways to enjoy the snow. You can try tobogganing and light snow play. Or you can wander through the charming resort village. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to check out, providing warmth as you take a break from the snow.
After a full day in the mountains, it will be time to head back to the city of Melbourne.
Time
- Tour departs daily (June- September) from 05:20am (depending on pick-up location) and returns approximately 8.30pm. This tour does not operate on Christmas Day.

Hotel Pickup
- Prior to completing your purchase, enter your preferred pick-up location in the 'Add Booking Notes' section of the shopping cart. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation tour voucher with complete tour operator details. You will be required to contact the tour operator a minimum of 48hrs prior to your day of travel to reconfirm your hotel pick up time.
