What to expect
Burleigh Heads, or Burleigh to locals, is loved by surfers, swimmers, and even those who prefer to keep out of the water. We may know it for its famous surf break, but Burleigh’s food, dining and cultural scenes are bursting into the market. Enjoy a walk through national parks and independent boutiques along James Street. Burleigh is a place everyone can love.
Start by solving personally curated clues and riddles that’ll take you on a journey to collect your special gourmet picnic food bit by bit. Each clue you solve will lead you closer to your next picnic food pickup and even closer to your final stunning picnic location.

- Please note that in order to comply with COVID operating requirements our partners are unable to provide reusable equipment during this time. We ask that you bring your own basket (or cooler bag), as well as a sharp knife to use for bread/cheese
Time
- Picnics start any time between 10 am – 12 pm daily
- Duration: We recommend allowing around 2-3 hours, including enjoying your picnic. You can certainly take longer as you explore the region!
Departure Location
- The starting location for your adventure varies based on certain factors, such as the day of your experience and any specific dietary needs.
- To kickstart your journey, look out for an email from AmazingCo sent by 5pm the day before your experience. This email will contain your first clue and the exact starting point. We advise you solve this first clue the night before, ensuring a smooth start to your adventure the following morning.
