What to expect
Take to the sky and discover the natural wonders of the Great Barrier Reef on a 40 minute scenic helicopter flight from Cairns. The extended Cairns helicopter flight is one of the top Great Barrier Reef tours showcasing the inner and outer edges of the Great Barrier Reef.
Friendly pilots will take you on a journey tracking over Green Island and Arlington Reef where the Great Barrier Reef sits on the Australian continental shelf. Admire the impressive coral structures and diverse marine life from the air on this breathtaking helicopter flight.
Next, you’ll fly over the sandy coral Vlassof Cay and remote islands of the reef before a circle of Cairns and the Trinity Inlet upon your return to base. Scenic helicopter flights are available from the Cairns Airport between 8am and 6pm daily.

- During check-in, passengers will be given a mandatory safety briefing and for Covid19 screening purposes, undergo thermal screening and a be asked to respond to a brief wellness questionnaire
