Book online here for your chance to meet and interact with these friendly and curious Penguins. The 45 minute program involves a behind the scenes tour of the food preparation areas and veterinarian facilities before you step out onto the ice for a very special encounter with King and Gentoo Penguins. This exclusive experience is only available to 4 people at one time. The Penguin Encounter at SEA LIFE Melbourne is run everyday at 2pm and entry to the aquarium is included so you may stay on longer and see all the other marine life on display here. Note
- If you experience Flu/Cold/Gastro/Respiration infection within 48 hours of your experience, you will need to call us to reschedule
- No jewellery, watches, mobile phones or cameras can be taken on tour
- You MUST wear/bring socks on the day of your experience. Failure to do this may result in the tour being cancelled
Time
- Operates Monday - Sunday at 2:00pm
- You are required to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your tour departure
Duration
- The experience is approximately 45 minutes long
- You will have access to explore the rest of the Aquarium for the entire day if you wish
What To Bring
- Dress in warm clothing - this is the best foundation for the ski suits
- Arctic gear is provided but please bring your own socks
- Cameras and video equipment are NOT allowed on ice
- Jewellery and hair accessories are NOT allowed onto the ice
