What to expect
Join Port Stephens 4WD Tours on their Beach and Dune with Sandboarding tour to explore Australia's largest moving coastal sand dunes plus try your hand at sandboarding. This tour takes you in a purpose-built 4WD vehicle 2kms down Birubi Beach. Admire the scenery while learning about the local history and learn how to search and find pipis.
Your tour guide will then take you into the sand dunes where it's your chance to have a go at sandboarding. With the help of an instructor, you'll learn how to safely manoeuvre down the dunes by sitting correctly and steering. From here, you'll be able to sandboard for approx. 45-50mina zipping down and running back up at your heart's content. Book your spot on this tour to try sandboarding in Port Stephens.
