What to expect

Visit some of Spain and Portugal’s best attractions on this 22-day western European adventure. Soak up the art and history in Madrid, explore the grand Alhambra Palace in Granada and watch a fiery flamenco performance in Seville. Unwind on Portugal's scenic south coast, walk through the fortified medieval city of Pamplona and set off on a tapas crawl through Logrono. Meet Lisbon locals in the Bairro Alto, taste some sweet port wines in Porto and visit Santiago de Compostela en route back to Madrid.

See the artistic feats of the Spanish masters in Madrid, then experience a different sort of mastery with a fiery flamenco performance in Seville.

Unwind in a laid-back fishing village in the Algarve on Portugal's scenic south coast. Soak up the sun on the beach and watch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.

Discover the fortified medieval city of Pamplona on foot. Weave through the city’s winding alleyways to the immense Gothic Cathedral and walk down the street of the famous bull run.

Sample local produce on a tapas crawl in Logrono. Don’t forget to wash it all down with a glass of txakoli (fizzy white wine).
