What to expect

Journey from Brisbane to Adelaide over four amazing days and take in some of Australia’s most spectacular coastal scenery, all while enjoying a delicious regionally inspired menu, paired with fine wines.

Travelling south to the rolling hills of New South Wales, you’ll stop for an incredible beachside dining experience in Coffs Harbour, featuring the freshest local produce and seafood.

On day two, you can choose your own adventure, with three off-train experiences to select from.

Explore the picturesque vineyards of the Hunter Valley wine region, see Port Stephens by land with a 4WD sand dune tour or by sea with a relaxing morning of sailing.

You can also explore the beautiful coastal city of Newcastle with a guided walking tour.

On day three, discover the wine and gourmet delights of regional Victoria or take a trip into Melbourne to experience soaring views from the Eureka Skydeck and a guided tour of the National Gallery of Victoria.

On your final day, you’ll enjoy breakfast onboard before rolling into Adelaide to end your Great Southern train journey.
