What to expect

Journey across our stunning country aboard the Indian Pacific. Travel in style and comfort from Sydney to Perth while enjoying fascinating off-train experiences along the way.

This four-day, three-night rail trip will take you through some of the most beautiful parts of Australia. Lose yourself in towering views of the Blue Mountains while you enjoy an all-inclusive regionally inspired menu, and sip on a selection of local fine wine.

Enjoy off-train experiences in the silver city of Broken Hill, contemplate the history of the mines at The Miner’s Memorial – a monument sitting 54 metres high, commemorating the town’s rich mining history.

Take a stroll down Main Street or discover the artistic history of Broken Hill’s most famous artist – Pro Hart. Discover his eclectic gallery, immortalising his vibrant and often cheeky collection of artworks.

Further along in your journey, visit South Australia’s famous wine regions, stretch your legs in the historic ghost town of Cook and enjoy a moonlight dinner under the outback stars at the remote cattle station, Rawlinna.

Upon arrival in Perth, discover the Perth Mint or even the Burswood Casino. Head to one of Subiaco’s trendy restaurants or simply grab a coffee and reflect on your Indian Pacific rail journey.
