Summer Sightseeing
Catch a return gondola cabin to the top of the mountain and take a relaxed wander through alpine meadows or dial it up and hike through the mountain.
What to expect
Immerse yourself in our beautiful alpine environment with sightseeing and walking at Cardrona. At over 1800m above sea level, breathe the fresh alpine air and take in the stunning 360-degree views of the Southern Alps, Lake Wakatipu and Lake Hawea. Choose between a gentle stroll from the top of McDougall’s Chondola up to our viewing platform and alpine swing, or a more adventurous hike on our Captain’s Circuit alpine trails.
