Taste the McLaren Half Day Tour
Short and sweet: 2 cellar doors, coastal scenery and time to taste. Perfect for tight itineraries and those wanting to squeeze as much as possible in.
What to expect
Board with other passengers for a scenic drive through Adelaide Hills to McLaren Vale's Chapel Hill Winery for a tantalising wine tasting. Next, enjoy the photo opportunities as we head to Haselgrove Winery for more tastings and the option to purchase a tasting platter. Return via the scenic Adelaide Coastline to Glenelg for a magnificent sunset. Choose to head back to Adelaide or stay and explore the seaside town.

Itinerary
Once in McLaren Vale our first stop is the stunning Chapel Hill Winery. Have your taste buds primed and your camera poised as your host at Chapel Hill tantalizes you with a wonderful structured wine tasting experience in their picturesque cellar door.
It's time now to climb back on board before we take the short drive to our next winery - the quaint Haselgrove Winery. On this incredibly relaxed tasting you'll enjoy a relaxed, structured tasting of their finest wines, and if you're feeling peckish, you can purchase a cheeseboard to enjoy with your wine.
From the Rustic Hills to the Picturesque Beach
It's now time to hop back on the bus as we head back towards Adelaide. We're taking the scenic route so you can bgaze out at the Adelaide Coastline as we journey towards our final featured destination of the day - Adelaide's beautiful seaside suburb of Glenelg.
There are two options for you here:
- Option 1: Take a 15 min stroll to get an idea of what Glenelg has to offer, before hopping back on the bus to Adelaide.
- Option 2: Leave the tour in Glenelg and spend a few leisurely hours enjoying the abundance of shops, restaurants, and, of course, the beach. Pick a spot for dinner and get ready to watch one of the most spectacular sunsets anywhere in the world.
