A 6 day cycling tour in South Australia through the Barossa, Clare Valley & McLaren Vale wine regions. Cycling on easy, safe and well laid off road paths, includes incredible food and wine experiences on this gourmet cycling tour.
Visiting world class cellar doors for wine tastings whilst cycling relatively easy cycling trails across South Australia including the Riesling Rail Trail & the Coast to Vines Rail Trail savouring the best of these gourmet regions of Australia.
Whilst enjoying the freedom of being self guided, you are fully supported. Your itinerary has scheduled with gourmet meals, wine tastings & more all included in this classic Cycling Tour in South Australia.

- 5 nights accommodation including 2 nights in 4.5 star in Adelaide (Mayfair Hotel or similar depending on dates/availability)

Itinerary
- Arrive into Adelaide, check into your lovely accommodation and take a look around before your included restaurant meal.
Day 2
- Transfer to the Barossa for a day of cycling, food & wine tasting. Visit Penfolds, Maggie Beers & more. Transfer to Auburn in Clare Valley for overnight.
Meals: Full breakfast; Platter style lunch in Barossa, Dinner in Auburn.
Day 3
- Cycle the scenic Riesling Rail Trail in the famous Clare Valley, with numerous wine tastings and a memorable lunch at Skillogalee Winery. Overnight in Clare with dinner.
Meals: Continental breakfast, Lunch at Skillogalee, Dinner
Day 4
- Cycle back to Auburn via an alternate route discovering new cellar doors, another winery gourmet lunch. Transfer to Hahndorf for overnight in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.
Meals: Full breakfast at Clare Country Club; Winery lunch at O'Leary Walker Wines
Day 5
- Transfer to McLaren Vale for day tour of the superb wineries, including a platter lunch and exclusive tasting and tour at Wirra Wirra. Return to Adelaide for final evening dinner and overnight.
Meals: Full breakfast, winery lunch.
Day 6
- After breakfast, say au revoir to friends and make your onward journey.
- Transfers between the regions are required on this tour. You can elect to self drive or Tour de Vines can provide transport throughout (ideal for groups). This can be booked during the booking process online.
Extras
- BYO bike or hire our quality Trek / Giant hybrid style bikes ($250) or enjoy the fun of an E-Assist bike ($400)
- Self transport between regions or use our transport services throughout ($1500 flat fee up to 10 riders, additional fees may apply for more than 10)
- Pre and post tour accommodation ($250 per room excluding breakfast, may vary depending on specific dates)
