What to expect

Visit the venues that host some of Australia’s favourite sporting events. Sit in the coach’s box, media centres and exclusive member areas. Smell the liniment in the change rooms and walk on the hallowed turf. Visit Flemington Racecourse, home of the Melbourne Cup – the race that stops the nation. Drive through the Commonwealth Games 2006 Village and around Albert Park, on the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit alongside Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.

Tour the MCG & Rod Laver &/or Margaret Court Arena and Melbourne Olympic Parks -the home of the Australian Open Tennis Championships. The Melbourne Cricket Ground is a super stage for Australian sport, stadium for the 1956 Olympics, International Cricket and Australian Rules Football.

Sports Lovers Tour PLUS Visit the National Sports Museum, home of Australia’s most extensive collection of sporting artefacts. Also included will be the MCG story and an extensive interactive area for kids of all ages.
