Walter Peak Cruise + Gourmet BBQ Dining
Make a reservation at Queenstown’s premium dining experience, and cruise across Lake Whakatipu to the shores of Walter Peak High Country Farm.
What to expect
Enjoy the picturesque setting at our lakeside, colonial building. Grab a plate and feast on a selection of local and homegrown produce, from wood-fired meats and seasonal vegetables, to cheese, charcuterie, and fresh breads. Toast with a glass of local wine or craft beer and top it off with dessert, before heading over to the amphitheatre for our farm dog show.

- We’re thrilled to announce that the iconic TSS Earnslaw has returned from her annual survey and is ready to welcome guests aboard once again across Lake Whakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farm.
Options
Select the vessel of your choice to cruise across Lake Whakatipu:
- TSS Earnslaw - the only vintage twin-screw passenger-carrying steamship in the Southern Hemisphere
- Spirit of Queenstown - modern catamaran with open-top deck and uninterrupted panoramic views
- _Both vessels will undergo annual maintenance during the winter months_
Time
- Tours depart from the Earnslaw Visitor Centre, Steamer Wharf, Queenstown daily at 11am, 1pm and 5pm all year round (excluding survey period)
- Please ensure you check-in at least 20 minutes prior to departure
- Parking in Summer months can be challenging, please ensure you allow ample time to park your car and check in for your departure
- All vouchers must be exchanged for boarding passes prior to boarding
