Enjoy a relaxing 3-hour cruise along the scenic Tweed River, with a locally sourced morning tea and lunch included.
What to expect
The 3 hour River and Rainforest Cruise is a signature experience designed to showcase the natural beauty and abundant wildlife of the Tweed River and surrounding hinterland. This fully guided cruise combines tranquil river cruising with engaging and educational commentary, offering guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the region’s unique ecosystems, lush rainforest scenery and local stories.
Throughout the cruise, the Captain delivers informative commentary covering the local history of the Tweed region, including early settlement stories, maritime heritage and Indigenous cultural connections to the river. Guests will also gain a deeper understanding of the area’s distinctive flora and fauna, river systems, mangroves and rainforest environments that make this destination so ecologically significant.

- 3-hour Scenic River Cruise: Join us on board of our beautiful timber ferry MV Golden Swan
- Morning Tea: Start your day with a delightful morning tea, featuring fresh bakery cake and locally grown coffee or tea

Time
- Please note: All cruises depart on QLD time.
- Boarding begins at 10am (QLD time). Cruise departs 10.30am (QLD time) to Tumbulgum and returns to the Tweed Marina at 1:30pm (QLD time).
- Please arrive 20 minutes prior to cruising. The boat does not wait: The boat departs according to schedule. We cannot wait for guests, even if you are only a few minutes late.
