What to expect

The enduring buzz of Cairo's bustling city streets and imposing Great Pyramids of Giza launch your discovery of Ancient Egypt. Cruise down the Nile to Kom-Ombo, past Luxor, and explore the Valley of the Kings.

Egypt will tantalise even the most seasoned globetrotters with its pyramids, tombs, mummies and desert landscapes. This is the perfect tour for a solo traveller, with a free solo room upgrade on select departures.

This 12-day, 11-night Trafalgar guided holiday gives you a taste of Egypt’s highlights, from the buzz of Cairo’s time-worn city streets to the imposing Great Pyramids of Giza; the Temple of Karnak in Luxor to the royal tombs that dot the Valley of the Kings.
