Endless dramatic cliff faces line the "edge of Australia", with the Great Australian Bight on the Eyre Peninsula's doorstep. And the region has beautiful national parks too, perfect for hiking and camping. You'll spot unique marine wildlife including sea lions and dolphins, and land animals such as kangaroos, emus and echidna. And for history buffs, Port Augusta offers a glimpse into the region's past, with several museums and historic sites.
